(Anna's First Birthday)
I am super excited about Anna's 3rd birthday party this year. I have never really thrown her a big party because I don't usually spend much on parties until around age 3 or 4. I figure they are not going to remember it anyway, so why spend the money. Well, this year her party is going to be awesome!
Anna has just started getting into the Disney princesses and one of the only movies she has never watched is Cinderella, so that's going to be the theme of her party. We are basically hosting a Cinderella viewing party for her and all of her little princess friends. How fun is that?!
Cinderella comes out of the Disney Vault and onto Blu-ray on October 2nd, so I have to go to Walmart this weekend and grab the movie. What makes this party even cooler is that on Saturday October 6th from 11 am - 3pm Walmart is hosting a fun Disney Princess themed event, and the best part... You're Invited!
It's going to be so much fun! Make sure you dress your daughter's in their favorite princess costumes and head to Walmart where they can decorate pumpkins, get coloring sheets, and participate in interactive activities! Trust me, you don't want to miss it (I would recommend calling your local store to make sure they are participating). Let me know if you make it out to the #DisneyPrincessWMT, I'd love to hear about your experience.
Make sure you download the Royal Ball iPhone App before going to Walmart on Saturday so you can use the app to scan the QR codes for fun surprises while you are in the store.
So Saturday I will be surprising Anna and Lexi with new Cinderella costumes and we will head to Walmart for some fun, and then Sunday we will have her birthday party.
I was able to get everything I needed for the party at Walmart. Take a look at what I got:
I have been working on some fun things to do with the girls during the party and here are a few things I came up with:
- A Royal Ball App Photo Shoot: I will be using the Disney Princess Royal Ball App to take pictures of the girls that I can then email to their moms (or I may use the pictures as thank you cards). You can check out the link above to learn more about the app.
- Princess Beauty Stations: We will have a hair and nails station so the girls can help each other get ready for the ball.
- Dance Lessons: We will teach the girls how to dance before the ball.
- Watch Cinderella on Blu-ray: The experience wouldn't be complete without popcorn candy and soda. Yea baby, we do it up right! 🙂
I can not wait to have this party! I think my baby girl is going to LOVE it!
